About Acadia Content Solutions

The People and Experience Behind Acadia Content Solutions

Acadia Content Solutions is a two-person boutique agency that works behind the scenes for agencies serving law firms. More than 20,000 completed legal pages taught us how much the direction set before drafting affects the page that follows.

You’ll work directly with Mark and Dianna rather than speaking with one team and having the assignment handed to another. Acadia grew from years inside agency workflows, where we repeatedly saw writers asked to decide what a page should accomplish after the writing had already begun.

Years of Legal Writing Led to a Better Way to Begin

Before founding Acadia Content Solutions, Dianna spent years writing legal content independently for agencies and law firms across numerous jurisdictions. She completed over 20,000 pages while managing substantial monthly assignments, but volume never made the pages interchangeable. Each one still needed a specific reason to exist within the client’s website.

Years of drafting and editing exposed the same weakness across otherwise promising assignments. Writers were often given a topic, a keyword, and a word count, then left to decide what the page should accomplish while writing it. Once drafting had started, structural problems were harder to correct without rewriting large portions of the page.

Acadia Content Solutions was built to settle the page’s central direction before the writer begins. The Acadia Method™ architecture establishes what the assignment must accomplish and gives the draft a defined starting point. It was developed to prevent agencies from paying for finished copy only to discover that the writer and the assignment were working toward different outcomes.

A Boutique Agency by Deliberate Choice

Keeping Acadia small was intentional. When you tell us what your agency needs from an assignment, Dianna and Mark remain responsible once the work begins. Your marketing package isn’t sold by one person and then handed over to writers who weren’t involved in the original planning. You do not have to repeatedly explain what your client expects or correct problems caused by information getting lost between departments.

Acadia limits its client roster so we can continue working this way. We accept recurring assignments only when there is enough room in the production schedule to complete them as promised. Your pages are not sent to whichever freelancer happens to be available that week. Limiting our roster allows the same two people to learn how your agency works and apply that knowledge to future assignments. Acadia can handle substantial monthly production without building a system that separates the client conversation from the people responsible for the content.

Meet the Two People Responsible for the Work

When you work with Acadia, you won’t spend your time repeating the same conversation to separate departments. Dianna and Mark Horacek each lead a different side of the company, but both know what your agency has asked for and where the work stands. Mark manages the relationship. Dianna turns the assignment into the architecture and finished content.

Dianna Horacek, Founder and Legal Content Strategist

Long before Acadia existed, Dianna was writing legal content for agencies and law firms across the country. More than 25 million words and 20,000 completed legal pages taught her that production volume never makes one assignment interchangeable with the next. Every page still needs a specific job within the client’s website.

Dianna also spent years managing the work of six freelance writers while maintaining her own production schedule. That experience made one recurring problem impossible to miss. When a writer receives too little direction at the beginning, drafting time gets spent deciding what the page should accomplish. Editing then turns into an attempt to repair decisions that should have been settled earlier.

Today, every Acadia assignment remains under Dianna’s control from The Acadia Method™ architecture through final review. She plans the page, writes the draft, and reviews the completed work before it reaches your agency. That ownership keeps the purpose established at the beginning visible in the page you receive.

Mark Horacek, Director of Client Relationships

Mark is often the first person you’ll speak with when you contact Acadia. He brings more than 30 years of client-facing sales experience, much of it spent managing long-term industrial accounts where remembering what a customer expected directly affected whether the relationship continued.

At Acadia, Mark learns how your agency assigns content and what you expect from the working relationship. He remains your primary contact as new work is scheduled, so you always know who to ask when a deadline changes or another assignment needs to be added.

His role also gives Dianna the uninterrupted production time required to plan and write your content without leaving you waiting for an answer. Mark leads the client relationship, Dianna leads the content work, and neither side operates without knowing what is happening on the other.

The Architecture Comes Before the First Draft

When you assign a page, the writer should already know why that page needs to exist. If that question is left unanswered, the writer has to make the decision while drafting. The copy may sound polished, but the page can still miss what your client’s website actually needed from it. Fixing that problem later usually means reworking the structure rather than editing a few lines.

The Acadia Method™ gives the assignment direction before the writing begins. Each page starts with an architecture that identifies what it needs to accomplish and gives the writer an approved plan for completing it. You receive a draft written from decisions made before drafting instead of decisions made paragraph by paragraph. This approach matters whether you need one page or content every month. Each assignment begins with its own purpose while supporting the website as a whole.

What Our Working Relationship Looks Like

When your agency hires Acadia, your law firm clients continue working through you. You control the client relationship and decide how our work reaches them. We send each draft to your team and follow the approval process you establish rather than contacting your clients independently.

You also won’t need to explain the account again every time you assign another page. Dianna and Mark retain what your team has already told us about the client and the work. When you send updated instructions, Mark makes sure Dianna has them before she plans and writes the next assignment. If an important question has not been answered, we ask before the page heads in the wrong direction. Each completed project gives us a stronger understanding of what your agency expects from the next one.

We Are Not Trying to Build the Biggest Legal Content Agency

Acadia was never designed around the longest client list or the largest possible volume of work. We want to build a company that agencies keep working with because they know what to expect from us and don’t have to teach a new vendor how to work with them every few months.

The longer we work together, the easier it will be to send us the next assignment. You won’t have to rebuild the working relationship each time your agency needs content. Replacing Acadia would mean starting at the beginning with someone who still has to learn how your team operates.

We are not working to build the largest legal content agency.

We are building the one our clients never want to replace.

Work Directly With the Team Behind Your Content

If your agency needs recurring legal content, Mark will speak with you first about the relationship you’re looking for and whether Acadia Content Solutions has room for the work. Once you decide to move ahead, you’ll work directly with Dianna on page assignments and content strategy. Mark remains available throughout the relationship if a concern comes up or you need help resolving an issue. Start by telling him what your agency needs and find out whether Acadia is the right choice for your law firm content.
